The V&R Sky Ranch was the perfect place to stay for our family reunion, which we also picked to coincide with the Solar Eclipse of 8 April 2024. We had family driving in from Houston, Austin, and Alpine, Texas, and family flying in from California, New Jersey, and England. My two great-nephews, each around 2 years old, got to meet each other for the first time. With two toddlers and one infant, the V&R bedroom set up was perfect, and we all loved it. We can also recommend Mac & Ernie's in Tarpley and TJ's in Bandera as great places to eat. The V&R was quiet, and was also the perfect place from which to watch for the eclipse - and I even got in a bit of birding!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The rooms are HUGE!! We had 11 people in our group and never felt cramped. The sauna and hottub were excellent. Plus you can walk the grounds and there were two horses and a goat we got to say hi to. Lots of extra linens that came in handy!

This place is quiet, large and absolutely beautiful. Everything was exactly as described and the pictures accurately reflect the home and surroundings. HIGHLY recommend this home. Jesse Burks

Wow ! What a beautiful property ! Our group of ladies had an amazing time. The views are breathtaking , specially at night when all the stars in the sky are visible ! The dry sauna and jacuzzi were a hit for our group! So much to do during our stay! Thank you

The property was beautiful! Exactly what was pictured!! My family enjoyed every minute of our stay. We would definitely be back!!
