Beautiful cottage with everything we needed to have a home from home. Great pubs within walking distance and a waitrose grocery store! The extra room in the ‘outhouse’ was incredibly useful - as was having a washer and dryer, especially as we had an extended stay.

Wonderful and cosy little property. Lucie and Chris have really made an effort to make it feel a little home from home and were very responsive and accommodating hosts. Well equipped and the Outhouse arrangement works really well. Although visiting during winter we had a peek at the Secret Garden which was really cool and must be a lovely suntrap in warmer months. Beds really comfortable and shower is top drawer and suprisingly spacious. All in all a little gem and brownie points gained from the fam for a great selection.

We stayed at the cottage over Christmas, which Lucie had decorated beautifully! Everything was as advertised and more! We made it our home from home, Lucie answered every question and was always obliging. We have booked the cottage again and I can’t wait! The outhouse was warm and welcoming for our guests and having parking was a nice plus! Having a grocery store, pubs and restaurants so close was a wonderful bonus! Oh! And I have to mention the welcome basket - above and beyond. ❤️

We had a great stay at this gorgeous little cottage. It was cosy and clean and comfortable. The kids loved the secret garden and the kitchen was lovely and everything easy to use. We would definitely visit again, perhaps in the summer next time and make use of the outhouse. The location is great as well, the breakfast place around the corner we visited every day and walked to the local pub for dinner one night. But it was nice to be set back from the main road, it felt like you were in the middle of the countryside :) thanks for a fab stay

Lovely cottage, stylish decor, very clean and comfortable. One of the best beds we’ve slept in, other than our own. Accommodation as close to perfect as it gets. We can highly recommend Rustic Kitchen and Deli on the corner - best full English breakfast ever!
