A tranquil location, tasteful and high spec accommodation with everything you need for a trip away. As a lone businesswoman traveler I felt safe and secure and very comfortable at all times. Highly recommend Hollie & Dan’s place and look forward to a return visit.

Great cottage, excellent communication with hosts, the only negative was the bed linen was a little tired and could do with replacing, other than that a great base and perfect for my needs

we had a great time with our two dogs - The house was in a great location some lovely pubs and restaurants - great for walks, lovely countryside. The hosts were friendly, thought of everything - the house was well equipped and dog friendly We thought there was onsite parking but there was not - although we were able to park the car outside the house on the road We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again

This is a comfortable and cosy base for exploring the area. I did have an issue getting into the property (the lockbox was broken and whilst the hosts did respond, I felt like I was intruding on their day by asking for help. I was also sent a random phone number to call with no information on who I was speaking to and this was an unsettling start to my stay, particularly as a woman travelling alone.) The house is tidy, comfortable and mostly as shown, although the stair carpet is very worn (and will shortly be a trip hazard if not dealt with) and there was a smell of dog, particularly upstairs. It had been cleaned to a decent standard, although there were some dusty areas - particularly in the bedroom - and there were hairs in the bath and sink. There is also no private parking, only on street in the village. I did feel secure in the cottage and the surrounding area is beautiful.

We have stayed here a few times before and we are always happy with it Nice area for walking and plenty of good places for lunch and dinner The cottage is well equipped if you want to eat in There is an excellent butcher in Woodhouse Eaves We will be back
