This place is perfect. The host provides all the essentials that you may have forgotten plus extras to make you feel at home - a nice bottle of their favourite local wine. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The location is perfectly situated to explore Abruzzo - the sea and mountains! The host is very responsive to any issues/questions you may have. There are a significant amount of stairs inside the home and in the town to be considered if you have mobility issues. The church bells chime 24/7 at Christmas time. Overall I would recommend this home!
It was our second time staying at Casa Querencia and it was just as good as our first time! Our host Josie is simply amazing and truly outdid herself when we reached out to her for a last minute booking. The house was ready within an hour and the house was full of all the amenities plus an amazing bottle of wine. We love staying at Casa Querencia and experiencing all the beauty that Colledimezzo offers. So thankful for having Josie as our host and can’t wait to come back!!!

Wow! What an incredible stay! This bnb from the moment we stepped through the door felt like home. It was meticulously and very comfortably decorated with special touches all throughout. You can tell there was love and care put into this place. The views from every floor were simply majestic! We ooo’d and ahhh’d every time we looked out. The village was just as charming as could be. We had cappachinos and croissants every morning at the local bar. People were very friendly despite our very broken Italian. I would not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to when we can return.

Hi! I’m Joan (or Josie, as my friends call me). I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful children. I stay at home with my kids and we actively homeschool, while my husband, Aaron, owns a Construction Business. We have lived in Florida for about 7 years now and love it, but travel is super important to us. I actually run a travel blog and Youtube channel on the side. We come from a multicultural background and love to learn about new people, places, and cultures as often as possible! Food is a passion for us. Can't think of anything better than being in a great place, surrounded by people we love, all while eating something incredible! :) We love music, museums and history. We are a bit nerdy in that way. When we travel, art museums and historical sights are at the very top of our to-do lists. Family is the most important thing in world to us and we truly believe in making the most of the time we have together on this earth! Traveling to new places and sharing new experiences is something we do to grow as individuals but also as a family.:) -------------- Aaron and I actually met in Italy in 2004 on a Summer trip touring the country. We fell in love with the place, the people, the culture, the food, and the language while we were there... and well, with each other too. :) It's been 18 years and 2 kids later and we are still soo enamored with Italy. Our goal to own a home in "Bella Italia" was made a reality this year and we couldn't be happier to share it with you! We hope you fall in love with Italia, just like we did! -Josie
