Our family has personal experience with special needs and with with domestic adoption. My husband Bruce and I bought this property to give our eldest daughter a chance to live independently, yet close by for our help when it is needed. She has the disability Spina Bifida. By renting out the other rooms in the house to traveling nurses etc. it gives her this rare opportunity. The house is quite large and rooms are spread out so interactions with others are a minimum (if you are worried/uneasy about the shared space, 3 people max).
