Welcome to your Shuswap Paradise! This hidden gem is perfectly located between Calgary and Vancouver in Sorrento BC on the South Side of the Shuswap Arm of the Shuswap Lake! Our rustic 2-bedroom cabins sleep up to 6 people. Enjoy the lake and beach just a short distance from the cabin door. We have buoys available for rent to moor your watercraft and we rent boats right on site! Come and enjoy this beautiful getaway right on the lake! This 2 bedroom cabin has one queen bed in each room and pull out sofa in the living room, the cabin can sleep up to 6 people. Cable tv and wifi. The cabin has a kitchen and washroom with stand shower. This cabin is located approximately 200 feet from the beach. We have buoys for rent to moor your watercraft, please message to check availability. No boat? No worries, we have a selection of boats available for rent right on site! Call to reserve yours today! *Brand new this year! We are now dog friendly! If your dog is 25lbs or less, they are now more than welcome to join your vacation for a one time $50 pet fee. Still no cats at this time, we appreciate your understanding! Dogs are not to be left unattended in the cabins for long periods of time! If they must be left in the cabin, please have them crated at all times! Please always have your dog on a leash when outside and ALWAYS pick up after them! There will be fines if you are observed not picking up your pet waste. We ask that your dog be well trained and socialized if you are planning to bring them with you. We are a family friendly site with lots of small children and we want to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. We also have a specific beach designated for our furry guests to use. Look for the sign on the far side of the dock near the boat launch! We want all of our guests experiences to be enjoyable while staying with us! If your dog barks or howls constantly while left alone in the cabin, you will be asked to board them at our nearby kennel up the road. *It will be at managements discretion if we feel a dog may not be suitable to this environment and thus will be asked to leave with no refund or be boarded at one of our local kennels for the remainder of your stay.*

The description of the property is “rustic” and it matches the well-worn accommodations and minimal bathroom & kitchen amenities. This did not diminish our enjoyment of the place however which is very family and pet friendly with lots to do in a safe, idyllic setting. We had loads of fun!
This was probably the highlight of our trip. The unit itself was relatively typical to what you would expect in a little lakeside community but the grounds and amenities offered were absolutely, without a doubt 100 % over and above our expectations. We spent a week from Calgary to the island and back, and the 18ish hours we spent at Dawson's would likely take the cake for our favourite part of the trip. There is something to be said about family time on a private beach with a beautiful view. There were plenty of water toys, rafts, and floats available to use. And then there was the sand pit, swing, volleyball net, and more and more and more. I wasn't even loaded up yet and three of the four of us were already messaging others to plan trips to return (the fourth is 5, so he has just asked every day since returning when we will go back to "live at the lake house", haha). I was a little more pricey than our budget would have liked, but it was absolutely worth it !!!
Our entire family had an amazing time!! Thank you so much Dawson and staff :) Everyone was so friendly and provided excellent service which made our family vacation so relaxing and fun!!! Highly recommend this beautiful resort!!! We definitely will be returning!!!!
