It is a 2-minute walk to an outdoor playground, a 5-minute drive to Shuswap Lake (Pebble Beach and Sandy Beach), a 10-minute drive to two beloved local restaurants (Spinnaker's and Timber), a 10-minute drive to a Par 72 championship golf course and a 20-minute drive to the lovely lakeside Herald Provincial Park. Groceries are 5 minutes away, anything else you may need can be found in Salmon Arm, a 30-minute drive away. The Bedrooms: The MASTER BEDROOM (upstairs) features a queen-sized log bed, bedside tables with lamps, his and her closets, blackout blinds and sliding doors leading onto the upstairs deck. The THIRD BEDROOM (downstairs) offers a log bunk bed with a double bed below and a single bed above, a closet with shelving and a window with blinds. The DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM has a bathtub. The LOFT is designed as a hang-out space that easily converts to a sleeping space for three. Three single beds tuck into the wall, transforming into a lounge couch when not in use. While set up to sleep three comfortably, the is open to the main living area, so it is not a private room. The design of this home cultivates family memory-making in its shared spaces, while the bedrooms are small, functional spaces intended for a restful night's sleep. Envision your stay: Greet the day on the lake view deck while quietly sipping a fresh cup of steaming coffee. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the expansive harvest table or grab a bite at the popular Spinnaker Café up the hill, then walk it off through forest trails leading to a meadow surrounding the old Lindsay farmhouse and heritage barn. For a view of Shuswap Lake from a different vantage point, try the Balmoral Bluffs hiking and mountain biking trail system. In early summer, relax on the Enderby River float and visit Farmstrong, a popular cidery and restaurant located in an orchard in Armstrong. Summer is a great time to rent an assortment of water sports equipment for a lake day, build sandcastles at Sandy Beach in Blind Bay or visit Herald Park for a short and rewarding hike to Margaret Waterfall before relaxing on the sunny pebble beach, taking a dip in the lake or picnicking beside the lakeside playground. Take a day trip skiing at Sun Peaks, Silver Star or Revelstoke Mountain Resort. After a busy day outdoors, snuggle up on the large comfy couch in front of the cozy fireplace while others play board games or do puzzles at the table.
