If you are a fan of sunsets and beautiful views of the Columbia River, this house and its location will please you. We were transfixed the evening we were there. Also, the house is very comfortable and easy to access with luggage. No steps if you park up right next to the house. Huge, countertop water dispenser is thoughtfully supplied. Mel is so kind and communicative. Really enjoyed our stay.

The place had beautiful views, was clean, and easy to check into and out of. Mel was quick and to respond to any messages and flexible with our check-in and check-out times. The tap water was a little funny smelling but there was plenty of filtered water waiting for us in a dispenser on the counter. Would stay again.

I’m a wedding photographer and I was working a 9 hour shift in the area after a 3 hour drive into town. I needed my husband to check in for me and Mel was so helpful, responsive and flexible. He met my husband there, gave him the key, and made it extremely simple check in. The place was extremely clean, clutter free, and felt very safe. The view from the main windows is AMAZING at sunrise. 10/10 recommend and I’ll stay again if I need to come to the area, you should too!

This was a great place to stay as we were passing through on our way to visit family and friends. The home was very clean and comfortable. It was also nice to wake up with a view in the morning! I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Mel’s place was very nice & the host was super accommodating. I was staying in Arlington because there was a educational in-service. Mel’s place was beautiful and right in the heart of the town. I enjoyed my stay.
