I cannot recommend Dodie’s place enough! As soon as we opened the door I was very impressed with not only the layout of the place, but how well everything was stocked (towels, shower products, measuring cups, silverware, dishes, etc.). The view from the kitchen and deck was breathtaking. Unobstructed views of the windmills as far as you can see and great views of the river as well. Dodie was very communicative and helpful - a fantastic host! When I go back to the Goldendale Observatory this will definitely be my first choice to come back to. You’ll be missing out if you stay near Rufus and don’t choose Dodie’s beautiful home! Thank you again, Dodie!

Went with some friends to a fishing trip and this place was great! Had plenty of beds for all of us was super comfortable and had a great view. It was easy to get in and out of from the freeway.

Myself and three friends stayed at this Airbnb during a recent fishing trip to the Columbia river. Location was perfect for the area we wanted. Beautiful views of the Columbia river and the Gorge. Dodie was a fabulous host and was extremely helpful and friendly. She made the experience very easy and awesome. Fun place to visit and see the surrounding communities in addition to our fishing experience. Had a great steak at the Texas T-bone restaurant. Very comfortable beds, which was very important. I will definitely stay here again, when in the area and I would highly recommend if you are considering this area for an Airbnb that you stay here in Dodie’s home. In addition to the home being immaculate, and very well appointed, her customer service was fantastic and was a great part of the experience of staying here. One member of my party left a personal item and she was so kind to send it back. Thank you very much Dodie and we look forward to seeing you again.

This is a good place to stay to do something else (fishing, hiking, track day at ORP, etc.) as it doesn't have a very big kitchen or "living" area. It is exactly what we were looking for. Lots of bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Clean. Well equipped and stocked. Dodie (the host) was super responsive and helpful. I would stay again.
