My family had a wonderful time at Grandma’s Cottage. It was very relaxing, quiet, peaceful, and a close walk to the beach. It was vintage and felt very much like being at my own grandparents house when I was younger. The Wi-Fi worked well and we were able to watch TV in the evening before we went to bed. Other than that it was nice to get away and be relaxed after being in New York City for the past week. It was the perfect ending of our two week vacation. I would definitely rent it again if we’re ever in that area. I really loved the small town vibe, the variety of restaurants, the friendliness of the people, and being close to the water.

We loved Grandma's Cottage! We brought the dogs and they felt right at home. The beach is so close, so we walked there every morning and even got to take the pups out to the sandbar during low tide. We will stay again if we go back to Old Saybrook :)

My family stayed at the cottage for a large family gathering happening the next block over, so the location was ideal. The cottage came as advertised and provided us with all we needed. Although the place could some updating, it served our needs for the weekend. The access to the beach and the backyard was especially great.

My family and I felt very at ease and relaxed in this Cottage. It's cute and it takes you back in the day of how simple things were. Everything seemed so far away yet you can drive up to Route 1 and have every necessity you need in under 5 minutes.
