Kick back and relax in this bright and airy modern farmhouse. Spacious three bedroom , four bed home features a chef's kitchen, stone fireplace, luxurious pool and beautiful patio area surrounded by gardens. Located on three private acres. Front acreage has large meadow surrounded on three sides by woods and fruit trees, creating a private setting for gatherings. Don't mind the chickens! They will be fed and watered by a caretaker while you enjoy the property and fresh eggs will be provided! Chefs kitchen with large island that seats four. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, the primary bedroom is attached to a sitting room with a couch and television. Spacious living room , with stone fireplace, TV room and dining room with table that seats 4. Bathroom on first floor has a shower only and bathroom on second floor has a bathtub.

1. Rural setting with lots of gorgeous landscaping 2. Huge kitchen with bar stools and view of bird feeder 3. Lots of patio furniture 4. Great TV’s with cable and apps 5. Trampoline and play set for grandson plus basketball hoop in pool. My grandson had a blast! 6. Fresh eggs from your chickens 7. Plenty of kitchen utensils 8. Accommodating Host:-)

We had such a lovely visit. The house was pristine and even more lovely than the photos show! The pool was fabulous and super clean. There was tons of space indoors and out to relax, visit, play and explore. The chickens were a fun added bonus and the swing set was great for the kids. We were a little nervous about the marble countertops but chose to cover them with table cloths and didn’t have to think twice about it. The house was also well stocked with basic essentials which really helped for a quick weekend getaway. Heather was super responsive and friendly. We hope to make this an annual getaway!

Stayed at Heather’s listing for a long overdue visit back to my home state after moving toCharlotte, NC 8 years ago. We felt right at home! So much so that we accidentally checked in too early and met our wonderful host!!! It was a super HOT and HUMID week in NY, so the pool was the ultimate relief for our family to cool off! The gourmet kitchen was fabulous for breakfast and lunch and had everything you could possibly need (condiments, spices etc). Location was super convenient to Metro-North train station for our ride to NYC. We had all the amenities of being at home … pool towels, washer/dryer, soaps, lotions, shampoo/conditioner, FRESH EGGS, bedrooms that accommodated everyone from our 12 yr old son to my 62 year old MIL. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our trip. Thank you Heather for your generous hospitality! You have a lovely charming home!

Home is set back off road and nestled in wooded setting but minutes from local shopping center with grocery store, post office, coffee shop and Sushi. Walking distance to Golden's Bridge train station where the Harlem line will bring you into NYC in an hour and ten minutes. North Salem boasts several apple orchards and breweries which offer live music on weekends. Hike beautiful trails or stroll our numerous preserves.

Walking distance to local shopping center and train station. Road is busy but walk- able, driving might be preferred method of transport. Ample parking in driveway of home.
