We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The place itself was a bit rough around the edges (daybed was not that comfortable, grill plate for stove was warped concave down, wall art was eclectic in a bad way, a wee bit of stale smell when we first arrived, and the worst of it: bed sheets of synthetic material which were unliked by all adults), but worked fine for us. Plus sides: it was less than 10min drive to the US National Whitewater Center, which was the reason for the visit, very close to chain supermarket, drug store, fastfood, etc.

The house is very cute. It’s a 1940’s bungalow that has had some updates. Most of the updates seem to be DIY. I appreciated the kitchen the most, it had everything you need to actually cook and enough dinnerware that you don’t have to rub the dishwasher after every meal. We also appreciated the grill in the back; it was a great option to mix things up.

This was a perfect place for all 10 of us to spend the week for our son's wedding. Conveniently located to the airport (15 mins) and downtown Charlotte (20-25 mins). A nice area to walk in and easy to navigate around. It is also 3-5 minutes to the grocery store, and other necessary stores, for stocking up on essentials.
