What an amazing private getaway. Michel was so great and hospitable and very helpful in helping us with connecting flights and overall communication. Vincent the chef was amazing..his dishes each night were so delicious. Just an overall great experience and great vacation. I highly recommend this Airbnb. This place is amazing. Spacious, bright, and right on the water (the Wifi is very convenient, too). The place was clean and had everything we needed. There is no food in the kitchen, but even if there were, I would recommend taking advantage of the meal plan at the kitchen/bar just a few minutes walk down the beach at Michel's other property. All of the guests eat at the same table, and it's a great way to get to know fellow travelers from all over the world. The staff also has an entire list of excursions that occur in the area and they can help you plan. Plus the food is all really good (mostly seafood because of where you are). If that's not your speed, you can pick up food to cook in Bocas Town on the main island. Boat rides seemed to be happening daily. But Isla Bastimentos in general - this place is paradise. Be prepared to see a lot of wildlife like sloths, monkeys, birds, frogs, cayman, dolphins, crabs, insects (especially mosquitoes). The island is also not super populated, so it was far less crowded than anywhere else I've vacationed. But that just makes the place feel more alive, because you get to really see and experience the nature. I hope to come back at some point, and if I do, I'll probably stay at Michel's property again.

Al Natural is a special place, the appartments are very comfortable and the perfect blend of being sustainable/ natural while also being comfortable. The food cooked by Vincent is some of the best food we ate in Panama during our month stay. It's also a great vibe as folks sit together for meals and you meet other travelers. All types of cuisine, the three course dinners are delicious and you can see monkeys, sloths, nurse sharks and more! We traveled with our 2.5 yr old daughter and she loved it and had her own crib and was made to feel right at home. We hope to return!

I highly recommend Al Natural to anyone. It is ideal for families even with small kids, and for couples too. Michel and the staff are very kind with their guests. We had very deliciius lunch and dinner sitting around a big table with the other guests like a family. Michel and his wife Michelle organized great tours on the island and with their 20 years local experience and insight gave us much more than a half day trip. We stayed in the residence part and it was exactly the same as it looked like on the photos. Clean, stylish, comfortable for the five of us.
