With two bedrooms and two baths, plus an open loft seating/sleeping area, it’s the perfect getaway on the ocean for a family or group of six with beds for ten. Your stay comes with a FREE membership to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (PBAC) which includes a beautiful pool with a beach and slide, tennis, pickleball, basketball, weight machines, free weights, cardio, classes, and much more. There is a wonderful restaurant on-site with poolside service. Why We Love This Property Location, Location, Location: The view from this home is spectacular. Watch the paddleboarders and a few boats go by as you sit on the lanai sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Beautiful place with plenty of room for family of 6. Amazing views in all directions. Just be aware layout does require climbing a flight of stairs to access the main floor. Since both bathrooms are on main floor, you will also need to navigate a flight of stairs from the loft.
The house was in a beautiful place. We had the opportunity to see whales, surfers, and sunsets. House had everything we needed and more. We had a wonderful stay.
Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful house and great location! The kitchen was well supplied. Short walk to the beach. We did have to rent our own beach chairs to bring. Also the only complaint would be the loft area gets hot. The A/C’s are wonderful but just doesn’t seem to help the loft area much. That wouldn’t keep us from staying here again though.
This property was, for me, the best best way to experience Kauai because of its proximity to necessities, activities, and, the amenities within. When it comes to necessities like groceries and restaurants, you’re close enough reap the benefits but just far enough away to not feel crowded. The house is located less than two miles from some of the best restaurants on the island like Merrimans, Rum Fire, and Beach House. It’s also located less than two miles from a little square that has grocery stores and alcohol. For activities, you’re less than one mile from the botanical garden, spouting horn, and the places that snorkeling and surfing lessons happen. Not to forget the beach a few feet from your front door. Finally, the house is well appointed. We cook a lot and elaborately. To our pleasant surprise, the house was well stocked with pantry items and pots a pans.
Overall was a great location but would have expected to be more updated based on the price. Photos on site looked much newer than actual house. The staff were great and usually very responsive when we needed things (beach chairs, umbrellas, etc). Location alone made it worth it - close to a small beach nearby and very close to Poipu Beach. The membership to the club was great for my family too for the pool use and tennis courts. Would definitely consider staying again based on the overall experience!

Lawai Road is a wonderful, flat walking street that is mostly on the Poipu Coastline. It goes from a traffic circle where Shops at Kukuiula and the Wednesday Culinary Market to Spouting Horn. On Thursdays visit the Aloha Market at the beautiful National Tropical Gardens. The gardens have tours almost every day. McBryde and Allerton are the gardens in Poipu. Take the little ones to Baby Beach, snorkel at Lawai Beach, and relax and swim at the Kukuiula Boat Harbor. Dine at Beach House Restaurant or go for happy hour and watch the sunset.
When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.
Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.
