Für Kinder sind Meerschweinchen, Ziegen, Hühner, Katzen, Esel und vor allem der zutrauliche Pfau Leo mit seinem sensationellen Gefieder eine Attraktion. Der gepflegte Pool ist für Kinder und Erwachsene gleichermaßen eine kühlende Oase. Leicht lassen sich von Les Bernardies aus auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten des nördlichen Périgord Noir wie Sarlat, Lascaux, Beynac, das Vézèretal mit le Roque Saint-Christoph sowie Cadouin und Saint-Avit-Sénieur erreichen.

I cannot recommend enough this place. It is the perfect place to relax and forget about daily life. It's not luxurious, nor do the owners claim it to be, but the house is extremely well equipped, it's clean, comfortable, we couldn't fault it if we tried. Chantal and Hubert are a delight to treat with, they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. For us it's been the perfect holiday. We will return.

We delighted in the enjoyment our toddler city granddaughter gained from ambling around the lush spacious grounds chatting to the goats, rabbits, donkeys & chickens. Our charming beautiful house was perfect for relaxing & set up well to cook when we wished. We also loved swimming in the pools & walking along the country lanes.
