Incredible home on a stunning estate! Well worth the money we paid. The house was spotless, fully equipped and very well cared for. We will certainly be re-booking.

This beautiful house was perfect for our group stay, even in the depths of winter! Very spacious, and very warm too. Finished to a high degree, and would happily return.

We stayed 3 nights during October half term - two adults & two children (ages 7 & 4). We had a lovely stay at the house, it was spotlessly clean and looks EXACTLY as the photos show! Such a beautiful location on the lake, and part of the lovely Lower Mill Estate where there’s so much to do. The house has everything you could want, and the rooftop hot tub was amazing - also spotlessly clean. We had ducks and even swans come up to the ground floor decking most days, which the kids loved! The only minor negatives are that the beds in bedrooms 2 & 3 are quite short, my feet slightly came off the end and I’m only 5’4”. Anyone taller and your feet will definitely be hanging off the end! This wasn’t a problem for us as the adults were in the huge bed in the master bedroom and our kids are still small. A few coffee pods for the coffee machine (Tassimo) would have been a nice touch given the accommodation was almost £500 per night. But not massive cons and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Frequent visitors to lower mill and marks place didn’t disappoint- Shame we can’t say the same for Balihoo - it gets worse every time we go. I have given them feedback but maybe owners could help out by asking them to sort their service and standard of food out 👍

A lovely house, beautifully decorated and very peaceful and quiet. Excellent communication from the hosts and they were prompt at fixing a miscommunication with the bed set up. It’s so great to have so many bathrooms too. Sound didn’t carry at all from the rooftop so the dining area and hot tub felt very private but still allowed lovely views across the lake. The kitchen was relatively well stocked but my only recommendation would be to include some plastic glasses for use in the hot tub (we had to buy our own in the end) and some fresh milk on arrival (there were sachets but they were very out of date).
