We choose this house for the advertised heated pool. The management company had the heater set to 84 degrees which would have been wonderful. However pool heater did not heat the pool higher than 77. We got a few 79 degrees during the prime sunny hours. For Michigan people this pool was not warm enough. We were very disappointed. With that being said we had a few other issues at the house and Alan, was always quick to respond and fixed the other issue in a timely manner. Only unfixed issue was the cold pool. House hasn’t been updated as the pictures show, however very clean. Kitchen has all of the dishes and cooking utensils that you would need. There has been a new boat lift and pontoon added on the water, the pictures don’t reflex that. So some of your view is blocked. Neighbors across the canal have 3-4 dogs that bark non stop. We had 2 families share this house and the layout worked well. Just be mindful there is no privacy for the 3rd bedroom. All open on that level.

If youre on the fence about booking this place, just book it. It is in such a peaceful area with beautiful sunsets and sunrises every day. The heated pool was the perfect temperature especially on our cooler days. There are so many neat preserves and parks within 20 minutes. We were looking for a relaxing vacation and thats what we got. The owner even ordered a pack n play for us within 2 hours of us realizing there wasnt one there. I was anxious that traveling with 2 under 2, we wouldnt have everything we needed but there is already a highchair, pool toys, pack n play, and movies/games. We will definitely be back. Amazing owners!

After a rocky start to our family thanksgiving vacation we finally made it to the house. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We rented a boat from around the corner at the captains rental and motel and had direct access to the gulf. My kids caught fish every day from the boat dock. The first few days of our vacation were nice and warm but towards the end of the week it got pretty chilly especially for swimming but that didn’t stop my kids as the beautiful pool is heated and was perfect. The host Alan was always very receptive and answered all questions we had. We will definitely come back as we loved the area and especially the home.

We fell in love with this property! Stayed 4 nights with our grown kiddos and it was amazing. Perfect spot for 6 people. Even though neighbors are VERY close, the house is SO quiet, serene, and private. Enough comfortable seating in the living room for the 6 of us to enjoy a movie together. Screened in back porch is a great way to start the day with coffee and a good book. The heated pool is perfect for lounging and watching shrimp boats meander up and down the canal. We can’t say enough good things about it! Our early 20s kids loved the game room downstairs. Big hit with them. Several local spots to eat and drink are within a 30 second to 5 minute drive away. We will be back!

We stayed for my fiancés birthday weekend and it was such a great time. Beautiful scenery, right on the water. We rented a boat and went out and had an amazing weekend! Thank you so much 😊
