Enjoy the sounds of the jungle and a spectacular ocean view only minutes away from the beaches. Casa Flores is located in Escaleras almost 1000 feet above the coast keeping the temps down at night and the view amazing. Minutes away from one of the best restaurants in the area but still feel secluded in the jungle life with sloths, several kinds of monkey and toucans too. 4x4 recommended to reach this gorgeous view. Casa Flores consists of a main floor with open air kitchen/living space where you walk out onto the pool deck and whales tail view from everywhere. There is also a master on the main floor with Queen size bed, full bath, out door shower, air-conditioning and a lovely view deck. Behind the kitchen you will find a full laundry room. Downstairs is another Master with Queen bed, sofa with pull out twin bed, air-conditioning, full bath and another relaxing out door deck space.

We LOVED our stay! The pictures do not do this house and its view justice! It was absolutely beautiful. So much wildlife right outside the back patio and extremely private. It’s about a 7 min drive down the mountain, and only a 10-15 minute drive to several restaurants and beaches. So glad we spent the whole week here rather than Quepos.

Casa Flores is beautiful - the photos in the listing are accurate but don't do the place justice. We loved hanging out on the patio and watching the toucans and other colorful birds. However, the thing that really made our stay perfect was Tim's warm and generous hosting! He made sure we had everything we needed, and was extremely responsive to our questions. Best of all, he made great recommendations for activities and restaurants that were spot on. The house can be opened up in many locations which was critical for catching the breezes that we wimpy Northerners needed to stay cool. (Only the bedrooms have AC.) We were there in mid-April and the weather was in the 90s. We would highly recommend Casa Flores!

Amazingly beautiful place -- perhaps the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Spectacular view, beautiful open airy living room leading out to the plunge pool. I only wished it didn't get dark so quickly in the tropics, so that we could sit in the cool evening sunlight and enjoy the view for longer. Simple bedrooms with comfortable beds and clean, well-functioning bathrooms. Our host Tim was wonderfully responsive, friendly, and helpful. He provided recommendations for restaurants and activities and even helped book our snorkeling trip, which was a highlight of the whole trip. The house is about a 10-15 minute drive from Uvita, and the drive up into the hills is steep, but absolutely worth it when you get there. My only complaint would be the lack of blinds or window hangings in the bedrooms, which made for early starts to the day, though it's probably not a bad idea to be out and about before it gets very hot anyway.

The Escaleras area is a well sought after address with beautiful view homes and amenities. It is located on the Escaleras mountain between Dominical and Uvita giving quick access to several beaches and shops/nightlife in both towns.
You will prefer a 4x4 rental for your stay or all wheel drive. The road is steep in places and can be challenging during the rainy season. You will also be glad you have 4x4 for beach access, jungle roads, etc.
