Isabella Cottage is a charming little house with garden and spacious terrace located only 50m from the beautiful beaches of Bol. Although it is placed in one of the most popular tourist destinations of the Adriatic sea and near the village centre, the cottage lies in a tranquil part of Bol surrounded only with sounds of crickets and the sea. The cottage accommodates 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom and it is ideal for a family holiday or romantic sanctuary for couples. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped for a longer stay. The stove in the kitchen is a ceramic hob with 4 plates, there is no oven . The terrace is shaded by a vine, and with the garden in front, transforms an ordinary holiday into a traditional experience of simple island life - enjoy grilling food on the terrace BBQ with oleander flowers around. Alternatively dine out at one of the local restaurants close by and enjoy the night-life bars of the town. Almost everyday you can enjoy the guest performances by well-known theatres, renowned musicians, popular singers and local cultural groups performing local dances, songs and plays. For the sports lover there is windsurfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, tennis and bike rentals.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig! Sowohl Strände als auch Restaurants und Geschäfte sind einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Beatiful house set in the very quiet part o Bol, but close to everything you need. Wonderful beach just 2 minutes by walk. Small but very picturesque garden full of plants. The house is fully equipped in everything you may need, beds are comfortable. The bathroom could get a little renowal. You also need to know that you get your Keys in the port in Supetar in the office and if arrive out of office hours you need to pay extra. Anyway we loved our stay and we had wonderful time in Isabela Cottage.
Alison et Sandra sont très réactives et aidantes pour la procédure d’arrivée. L’appartement était bien situé pour nos besoins (possibilité de se garer facilement, a proximité d’une petite plage pleine de charmes et à quelques minutes à pied du port). Appartement fonctionnel avec un jardin agréable.
Wir waren mit unseren 6jährigen Zwillingen im Haus und können es für Familien sehr empfehlen. Nicht weit zum Strand, nicht weit zum Ortskern, eine gemütliche Terrasse fürs Frühstück, was will man mehr? Allerdings ist das Haus schon sehr alt. Und als wir ankamen, fehlte ein Stuhl auf der Terrasse und drei Glühbirnen waren defekt. Aber Bescheid geben lohnt sich! Bereits am nächsten Tag wurden Stuhl und Glühbirnen geliefert. Alles in allem, wars ein sehr schöner Urlaub :)
All in all we were disappointed and not satisfied with the house. A great disadvantage (although stated in the listing) is that you have to go first to Supetar to check in an get the keys which costs you money and minimum 2 hours extra time (ferry from Split to Supetar and taxi from Supetar to Bol instead of directly taking the Ferry from Split to Bol). We got the keys then in Supetar and however didn’t get into the house because the keys were not complete. After a long day of traveling very annoying. Unfortunately the house was not in the condition the pictures show and it would be necessary to reshape outside area and kitchen (dishwasher not full functioning, humidity in the kitchen and on walls). However, the location of the house in the center of the village is very nice and close to beaches, supermarkets, shops, restaurants. Communication with the agency also went without problems and seamless. I am very frequently renting houses via Airbnb and am a great fan of Airbnb. This was one of the negative experiences I made. In fact there isn’t any hospitality. The owner has outsourced the services to an agency at a distance.

Bol is located on the south coast of Brac so enjoys the most sunshine. Above it is Vidova Gora Mountain which the highest point of all Adriatic islands (778 m) and is well worth a visit by car as the views from the top are excellent.
Bol has a long coastline and so some great beaches the most famous of which is Zlatni Rat (the Golden Horn) which is a long spit of land extending out to sea and is located about 2km from the centre of Bol. Frequent water taxi boats a a wooden train take holiday makers tothe beach. On the east side of Bol is a lovely bay with a beach next to a monastery and is the closest beach to Isabella cottage.
The centre of Bol is a quaint harbour with local small fishing boats. There are a baroque summer residence, a small church, a renaissance-baroque palace with an art gallery inside it, a parish church and a little market.
For things to do, there are several clubs, a surfboarding school, a sailing and diving school, a large tennis centre, various sports courts, fitness centre and many other facilities. Bol is the favourite destination for excursion boats and yachtsmen, and has a special berth in port for yachts.
The village of Murvica with its vineyards and beautiful beaches is close by. It is known for its Zmajeva spilja (Dragon's cave), a miniature church within the cave with caved relief and religious characters.
Blaca, under the steep cliff within Brac' road-less region is impressive for its monumental and harmonious structure in which recluses placed stylish furniture, piano, valuable paintings, library, collection of antique weapons and antique clocks, a telescope. The monastery has existed continuously for four centuries, and today it is a unique cultural monument of human effort and human endurance which as an ethnological exhibit is motivational for modern life.
When staying at Bol, you should definitely visit Vidova gora and also visit and experience the entire island which during summer creates atmosphere of life's enjoyment and indulgence.
