We had an amazing weekend away from the big city at Cedarhaus, the surrounding nature was extremely quiet and peaceful but we were just a hop away from the lovely town to enjoy all the sights and activities we planned for. The rooms and kitchen were perfect, clean, and stylish. We had an great time and would love to come back again Our hosts were not only attentive and helpful, but very welcoming and respectful of our space and privacy as well. It was lovely to meet and chat with them as we all enjoyed the property and the wonderful weather we experienced. 10/10

The Cedarhaus was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The included coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the well equipped kitchen were greatly appreciated! The lake is private and serene. Take your coffee down to the dock as it can’t be seen from the deck because of the trees. Daryl and Louisa responded quickly to messages and were kind enough to move their vehicle to make more space for ours. The Cedarhaus is a great accommodation for two couples or two small families as the kitchen, living space and outdoor areas are shared between the two bedrooms. We rented both rooms so it was not a problem for us. The beautiful town of Bancroft is just minutes away.

The cedarhaus exceeded all expectations! From the amazing and friendly hosts who were always available and helpful, the newly built cottage with an amazing interior, to the gorgeous private lake, we’ll definitely be looking to find our way back to this beautiful cottage in the future.

My family had a wonderful stay in Bancroft. Cedarhause was spotless, comfortable, and stylish decorated - with such amazing attention to detail! The property is more like staying at a spa retreat than a cottage with beautifully cut paths through the trees, layered with cedar chips, leading to a private lake. The hosts were friendly and responsive to any queries we had and were very knowledgeable about the surrounding amenities.
