The nicest thing about the neighborhood is that you can walk over to the Chesapeake Bay. The beach is never crowded, and once you cross the dunes, you are in a different world.
The second nicest thing is that there are three restaurants you can walk to at the corner. The Mexican place, "Jesse's", is totally authentic and there is a Mexican grocery and bakery attached. There is also a pizza place. Lastly, there is a little beach bistro across the street from the shopping strip.
There’s plenty of shopping about a mile away on Little Creek Road. There is also a city Recreation Center nearby where pickle ball is a big thing, and there is also a fishing pier there.
This area of Norfolk has been undergoing redevelopment for the past decade, with grand new houses springing up all the time. We cannot guarantee that you will not see sketchy areas in the neighborhood, but you will also see mansions.

There are plenty of places to walk, including on the beach. Restaurants less than a block away. Bike paths on the major roadways. Parking is off-street in our lot. Additional parking available on the street for free, but spaces are scarce.
