Our family had a wonderful stay at the log cabin. Red Mountain is across the road and very easy to get to by car or walking. With younger kids we drove to the resort for skiing each day. After skiing kids enjoyed the snow on the property for more outdoor play. The log cabin is spacious and welcoming - we enjoyed our time together in the evenings with dinner and games including ping pong downstairs. The area overall appeals to all of us, it’s about the outdoors with a friendly simple town.

Michael's cabin was pretty cool in that it is right across the street from the ski area, yet it feels like it is far away in the woods and is very private. The kitchen/living/dining space felt more roomy than I thought it would be from the photos. We were two families of 3, and the 6 of us were super comfortable in the space. The kitchen was really well stocked, and showers had shampoo/conditioner/body soap. There are also a ton of board games. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to go back someday.

If you haven't been to Red Mountain its a must. The people are wonderful and very proud of their Town and Mountain Most are transplants and have a DIY attitude Michael Log Cabin is all of that, cozy and efficient. Location right across from Hill Thanks

We are a small (5 people) group of friends who stayed at Michael’s cabin for our annual ski trip. The place is private with beautiful surroundings, just about 15 min walk to the lifts. Skiing back is an option on a snowy day as the place is downhill from the runs. We found the cabin to be very roomy, with plenty of space for everyone. Definitely took advantage of the sauna in the basement. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked most of the days. Would recommend!

Look no further for red mountain lodging! Michael is a great host and I’m looking forward to stay again in his beautiful and cozy cabin.
