We spent a week at this gorgoeus villa, i wish we could stay longer. Absolutely gorgeous grounds. So much well maintained land. We stayed with kids and they were busy dusk till dawn outside playing,biking, swimming, running. House is very well kept ,even if it rained all week youll be fine staying indoors. The views are breathtaking, location is amazing. Would stay there over and over again !

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit in dem Ferienhaus von Serena. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet alles was man sich im Urlaub wünscht. Serena hat uns mit vielen Infos zu der Umgebung geholfen und war jederzeit erreichbar. San Miniato ist perfekt gelegen Tagesausflüge in alle Richtungen zu unternehmen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We had a wonderful time at Casale il Fontanellino! The villa is beautiful and well maintained. Everything was as described, with all the amenities we could have needed and more. The rooms are beautiful and traditional, but with a good modern shower and bath. The TV has an HDMI port - remember to bring a cable if you want to connect to another device. At the end of October it was a bit too cold for us to be tempted into the pool, but we sat with a drink and enjoyed the views. Serena was so welcoming and helpful - always quick to respond, and provided some great local restaurant and walking recommendations :) San Miniato was the perfect location for exploring Tuscany - much quieter than nearby more well known areas, with good road and rail links. We drove 30 mins to get the tram into central Florence from Villa Costanza, which was very convenient. Thank you for a fab holiday!

We stayed at Serena’s place for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The house offers lots of space and is perfecftly well maintained. The garden (park!) is just awesome with its wonderful vegetation and the stunning view into the valley. On top of all that, there is the fantastic and super-clean pool which offers a great opportunity to relax on sunny afternoons. We went in early October and didn’t have any mosquitoes !!! The house is situated on a hill right outside the beautiful old town of San Miniato (4min drive) where yo can find loads of good restaurants or places to enjoy a drink or two. Places like Firenze, Pisa, Luca, Siena and Volterra are all reachable within an hour’s drive (max). Serena has been very helpful in finding restaurants or suggesting beaches for a trip to the nearby Mediterranean. She really is the best host you could wish for! There is a family living right next door who were very friendly and even sold us some local olive oil.

Lovely place to stay. Nice garden and view. The house was perfect: old very charming house and thanks to the air-conditioning the perfect temperature after visiting a hot city 😃. Also very well located between Pisa and Florence
