Jack and Jill door entry from hallway and master bedroom. Bedroom - Master bedroom with king size bed and a double fold away Murphy bed in the wall of the living area, both fitted with eco friendly Harrison Spinks mattresses and quality linen. Privacy screen available for Murphy bed. Ample hanging space, dressing area with mirror & drawer storage within the wardrobe of the master bedroom and full length mirror provided. Hallway - additional hanging space and shelving available Underfloor heating throughout the property, each room is individually controlled by separate thermostat Hairdryer provided in the Master Bedroom Internet - Wifi available Entertainment - Large smart TV. Excellent stay, all very straight forward and a brilliant flat.
What’s great find. Ben and Aileen have created a wonderful apartment right in the centre of town within walking distance of all the amenities. The apartment’s fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard as are all the furnishings and range of kitchen equipment. Needless to say the apartment was spotlessly clean. Ben and Aileen are excellent hosts taking the trouble to phone us to let us know when the apartment was ready. My wife and I had a great stay and would highly recommend Ben and Aileen’s apartment and look forward to staying there again in the future.
Highly recommend a stay in Ben and Aileen's beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect - a stress-free check in, prompt communication, spotless surrounds, sumptuous bedding/towels, all the kitchen appliances you could wish for, a delicious cake upon arrival and a very useful parking space in the centre of town. The photographs do not do the apartment justice. It is a stunning conversion; spacious, warm and very comfortable.
This apartment was absolutely lovely. Really nicely kitted out and was spotless. The location was fab too and was near everything Richmond had to offer. Ben/Aileen were really responsive and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.
Top class accommodation set right in the heart of Richmond. Ben communicated every step of the way, from confirming the booking right up to ensuring our arrival and checking in - we were lucky enough to get a slightly early check-in. We will definitely be going back to Swaledale Cottage.

Centrally located and a 3 min walk to the beautiful, cobbled market square and the array of delicious food and drink options available in the town. With popular Italian restaurant La Piazza just across the road and Number 29 Gin and Tapas bar a short stroll down the street. This accommodation is a perfect staycation to get away from it all. Richmond Castle is a short 5 min walk away and you will be close to the historic Georgian Theatre, The Old Richmond Station with art gallery, 3 screen cinema, art store and award winning food and drink producers. Catterick Racecourse and The Swale Waterfalls and river walk are also close by.
Mid-point to the coast to coast walk , a 15 minute drive away from the popular Middleton Lodge wedding venue and a gateway to the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales. You will be spoilt for choice for things to do in and around the area. Richmond is a real hidden gem for holiday makers.
