The Photographer's House was perfect for our week's stay in Southwold. The central location is excellent, with great access to the beach, and to the shops and cafes. Being able to park for free a few minutes' away was a big bonus. The house itself is very comfortable, and having the outside area was also very useful - a great suntrap for relaxing morning coffees. The owners also provided a great guide for the house and also the location. They were also extremely quick to respond when I had a small request, and went over and above to help. Would highly recommend it.

The cottage was beautifully put together and presented. Right in the centre. Nice welcoming touches. An old cottage with some modern touches.

The Photographer's House was absolutely perfect for our stay in Southwold. Directly on the main street, but within a short walk of the beach and greens. You can see the sea from the gorgeous Georgian bay window. The house is tastefully decorated. Not fussy, but full of interesting items. We loved it. The owners have taken so much care to make the house welcoming and comfortable. Cottages . com information was ok but the actual owners of the property were fantastic with the helpful information they conveniently provided. They were only a text message away and I am sure they would have responded immediately if we had needed them. We'd absolutely love to stay again if on a break in Southwold.

A stylish, quirky comfortable holiday home with all mod cons and a fresh contemporary interior. The apartment is centrally located above Queen Street shops, whilst only a few minutes walk to the beach or common. We liked the comfortable beds, stand-alone bath and digital electric heaters. The charm of Southwold in the off season is that it is timeless, peaceful and quiet; with not much to do but mooch about the shops or walk over to Walberswick - although we enjoyed the tour of Adnam's Brewery. We went in March and found free parking close by and easier than expected. Each morning at 9.00 am an articulated lorry unloaded beneath our window to replenish next door's Tesco Express for about an hour. Not really a noise problem for a few days in March, but combined with the rammed streets of summer it could be! However for a comfortable off season break in a beautiful timeless coastal Suffolk town the Photographer's House is hard to beat!
