This was the only available space in town that fit our large group of 14 for a last minute trip. While the space of the cabin was great, the peaceful surroundings were good, the hot water was ok, the check in/out was easy. We wish the place was cleaner. Especially for the price per night and the $75 cleaning fee. There were live cockroaches in the kitchen cabinets. Mice turds all in the pantry with the appliances and all under the couches. We had one of our guests almost leave because of the roaches in her room. All the plugs in one of the bedrooms didn't work. Floors missing large pieces of linoleum in the bathrooms. This place could definitely use some upgrades and some deep cleaning.

Loved the seclusion and bed count. Plenty of room for a large group. Building and grounds in desperate need of some basic maintenance. Gutters full of leaves, multiple soft spots in flooring, bathroom door jam falling off, floor tiles missing and mouse infestation were the negatives.

Communication was fantastic with the hosts. We had air travel issues that interrupted our trip and Robyn was fantastic and worked with us.

We were concerned about staying so far away from our destinations; The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Being as Covid restrictions kept our large group from staying much closer. But we were all extremely pleased with the location and the Cabin at Camp Burnamwood! Kevin was great and attentive to all our needs in a very timely manner. We are planning another trip when it's warmer and would recommend families and large groups to visit Camp Burnamwood real soon!
