Work from paradise: A dedicated workspace with reliable internet allows you to seamlessly blend work and relaxation. The internet is also available up at the pool Well-equipped kitchen: There is a properly equipped kitchen as we like to cook, so plenty of pans, knives, corkscrews and bottle openers, as well as cookery books. The two weekly markets in Umbertide , as well as the wide range of small local shops , mean that if you enjoy cooking you will love staying here. Equally, if you don’t love cooking, there is a wide range of really excellent local restaurants! Dining in style: The adjoining dining room provides the perfect setting for memorable meals with family and friends. Convenient access: Doors leading to the garden from the kitchen, hall, and living room offer effortless indoor-outdoor living. Dieses alte Steinhaus ist ein wahres Juwel in den Hügeln Umbriens. Ca 15 Minuten von der nächsten Ortschaft Umbertide gelegen und in absoluter Alleinlage ist es der perfekte Ort um Ruhe und Stille zu genießen. Egal ob Montone, Spello oder Assisi...Umbrien hat unser Herz gewonnen. Frühstück direkt auf der sonnige Terrasse, Mittagsessen unter der schönen Pergola, umwerfende Sonnenuntergänge am wundervollen Pool ♡ Obwohl der Sommer in Umbrien sehr heiß ist bleibt das Haus selbst schön kühl und wir alle haben perfekt geschlafen. 4 Schlafzimmer in der oberen Etage, 1 mit Doppelbett, 3 mit jeweil 2 Betten und super bequemen Matratzen. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war für uns anfangs die Tatsache, daß kein Toilettenpapier runtergepült werfen darf, aber mit Hygienebeuteln kein Problem. Bei Problemen kann man sich einfach an Tony, den Ansprechpartner vor Ort, wenden und gemeinsam findet sich schnellstmöglich eine Lösung. Danke für eine tolle Woche!
Pros The house is in an amazing location on top of a hill. There are so many lovely places to sit outside and the sunsets were amazing! The pool was lovely and the house is very nice, and there are lots of games such as badminton and table tennis. We had a very enjoyable week. Cons The house is about 15-20 mins up a rough tarmac road and then a steep gravel drive. We managed it in our campervan but you need to be a confident driver. We went to the wrong place using the pin in the Airbnb app and GPS - follow the instructions instead. The toilets are on a very sensitive sewage system. The instructions tell you to not put any toilet paper in the toilets. One of our kids went to the toilet before we had a chance to tell them and it blocked the toilet. We had to spend a lot of time trying to clear it and eventually told the manager who called a plumber and we had to pay £134.
Highly recommend this breathtaking property. Perfect family stay with a beautiful pool, view and various areas of relaxation. We never got bored of the sunsets 🌇

A short drive from the house, in the valley below, there is an excellent restaurant, next door to a vineyard from where you organise tastings and buy wine and olive oil. In the area there are many very good places to eat, ranging from simple local pizzas to memorable restaurants specialising in Umbrian cooking.
If you wish to have someone come and cook the occasional meal for you up at the house, this can be arranged.
Near our house, in the castle at the bottom of our road lives a renowned artist whom is willing to give sculpture and drawing lessons in her studio.
For all of your shopping and in the valley below, is the thriving market town of Umbertide, where there are two weekly markets with local farmers selling seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as truffles, fish, cheese and salamis as well as a wide range of supermarkets. Scattered across the town and in the main square there are many small cafes for coffees and people watching.
The house is within easy driving distance of horse riding and the 18 hole Antognolla golf course. Slightly further afield are Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Orvieto and Florence.
The house is at the end of a private road. Although people have stayed here using only bicycles and taxis, we believe that you have to have a car.
There is parking for three cars
