Wow, a fantastic place to stay, a beautiful location & an amazing villa. The setting and the views are breathtaking. Rolando ‘The Host’ is someone special, from day one of booking he enhanced the experience to a different level. From amazing recommendations to great advice throughout our stay. A beautiful house in a quite setting with a beautiful vieuw . Perfect accomodation with a nice pool and comfortable terrasses around the house. We twice enjoyed the gorgeous cooking of Carolina and friend.

Casale Degli Olivi is the ultimate country house, set in one of the best spots in the Umbria region, with unparalleled viewings in particular at sunset time. I spent 10 days in the house with my husband, my daughter, parents in law and other family members and there was more than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and enjoy the amenities. The house is very easy to reach, with only 5 minutes drive on a private white road from the main street. When we arrived we immediately felt we had reached an oasis of peace and beauty as we entered the house through the garden. Madeleine gave us a full house tour which was very appreciated. The living room is huge, stylish and authentic at the same time. All the details are very clever and harmonious with the settings. The kitchen is well sized and the 2 fridges very helpful given the number of guests the house can host. All the bedrooms are very large with a very credible, stylish and luxurious feel. The garden is just incredible with unique viewings over the hills and valley. I must say this is one of the most beautiful rural Italian landscape I have ever seen and being able to contemplate it every day has been a true incredible experience. Particularly the sunsets are so beautiful! The swimming pool was very well equipped and maintained, good-sized. My sister in law decided to host her wedding dinner in the garden and I could not fee more grateful to Rolando, Madeleine, Janise and Alan for the unlimited amount of tips, help and advice (from lighting to personal chef to mention a few). All the guests had a great time and the atmosphere was fabulous. Overall, this is a very special place, one of those places we will keep close to our hearts hoping to go back soon. You should really book with no hesitation if you are looking for a true, authentic, unforgettable Italian holiday.

Rolando's property is absolutely stunning and we're very privileged to have shared it. We had 11 people staying and had a fabulous time. Sometimes, photos slightly overpromise, but in this case the property and location are even better than the pictures on the site. Rolando is clearly very proud of his home, and very happy to share his experience in Umbria. He had made contact with us beforehand and helped with a wonderful set of restaurant booking. Upon arrival, everything was immaculately clean (pool, rooms, toilets, kitchen...etc.) and ready for use. The kitchen is very spacious with 2 fridges and a lot of equipment for 12 people. Everything we needed was there - including sharp knives (yes!!) There are 2/3 multiple areas to dine with a great large Weber barbecue which we made great use of. The view from the property all round is outstanding with wonderful sunsets. The decoration in the house is very tasteful and personal all made for a great cultural and relaxing experience. The pool is generous (unheated so not for winter!). The rooms are all large and beds very comfortable with mosquito nets on all beds (great touch although we did not find many mosquitoes in September). Janice and Allan who look after the property and Rolando's family nearby (and 2 adorable and gentle dogs who can be kept back if required) were always keen to help with every detail of the stay. They very kindly also organised a great pizza evening which we enjoyed thoroughly. We are travelling often and are experienced with airbnb and Rolando's property is at the very top. Do not hesitate to book. We had a fantastic time.
