Our family of 5 plus mother in-law stayed for 5 nights at Chris's place and absolutely loved every minute. The kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed, including coffee and condiments. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out. We loved the view from the kitchen- we could see the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Chris had a great assortment of beach gear, which we used to explore a different beach every day. Our favorite beaches ended up being a little bit of a drive, but we enjoyed staying in Kona for the fun restaurants and shops. Although there is no AC, the fans did a good job cooling down the rooms in the afternoon, and by sunset, the house was the perfect temperature. No need to use the extra AC units in the bedrooms. I would 100% rent here again and highly recommend to anyone looking!

Highly recommend!! This is a beautiful house with an amazing view set in lovely gardens. It's completely comfortable in every way with a gorgeous kitchen and a real feeling of blurring the line between indoors and outdoors that is so nice in Hawaii. The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful even from our first contact in making the reservation. It was a great trip to Kona!

We just have to say that after years of great AirBnB experiences, this was simply one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! Chris’ home is an oasis, with a wraparound view to die for. Uncluttered, spacious, with an extremely well appointed kitchen, we will be thinking fondly of our days here for a long time. The view of the ocean, from up on the slopes of Kona, is visible from the kitchen, living room, dining room and back deck. The house was spotless and extremely comfortable to be in for our 6 night stay. Chris is a knowledgeable and gracious host; he and his family left lots of useful recommendations for places to eat, beaches to visit and activities to do. Foster’s Kitchen became our go-to restaurant due to their recommendations. Communication was easy, friendly and prompt. And when we bungled Netflix access, Chris was patient and super helpful getting us going again. The pool was a favorite of my wife & daughter. Not enough space to rave adequately about Chris’ home! A gem!

Great rental! Loved the open kitchen, front room area with lots of windows and a beautiful view. Great trail for morning walks and runs just a few minutes walk away. And a fun pool to cool off in afterwards! Chris was very helpful, friendly, and easy to work with.
