Moloka’i and Kepuhi Beach Condo is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. You have the ocean within reach, beaches are so beautiful but the surf can be a bit strong so if you are not a very good swimmer don’t go in the ocean!! Whales and dolphins can be seen from shore, it is amazing. We even found sea turtles resting at the beach as well as monk seals. From the beautiful pool at the resort you can see the Pacific, almost like an infinity pool. You will need a vehicle because the only grocery store is about 25 minutes drive away in Kaunakakai. It is a very small town and not a lot of shopping possible. The people on Moloka’i are the most friendly and helpful people. Treat them and their land with respect and love and it will come back big time. We got married at the beach by a most wonderful Hawaiian lady pastor and we are so grateful for the tradition ceremony she performed. We became friends forever with her.

The place was great, we loved the foldable futon couches. The view was exceptional, and the breeze was great as long as the windows and doors were open. We did have a lot of bugs visit us because one of the screen from the top windows (unreachable without a ladder) was not in, which also caused the place to be dustier than it should have been. The bathroom door was on a permanent lock, so the only way to open the door if no one was in the bathroom, was to use a knife. Even with those hiccup, the place is still pretty good. I don’t recommend if you have a 1-year old, all the dishes are glass, so you’d have to be very diligent in watching your toddler. There was no clear instructions on how to checkout so we guessed on what to do, hopefully we guessed correctly. The pool is awesome during sunset. It is great for when the waves are big and we shouldn’t be going in. It’s not a bad place, in truth is is a really great place. Hopefully the screen and doorknob gets fixed soon.

Superb ocean view, the pool was superb, lovely bread in town at the 7:30pm-midnight bakery, mailed coconuts from the post office. Leper colony was fogged in but phallic rock was waiting for us.
