We loved the cottage - really nice feel to it. Fantastic garden, and a brilliant location close to a lovely pub and short walk to the River Orwell. All in all, we really enjoyed it.

Extremely disappointed with Gunhill cottage. Would not recommend. Thought it would be a lovely traditional English cottage to stay in. It was in fact fairly awful. Washer/dryer and fridge/freezer were in the garden shed with the lawnmower, paint, garden chemicals etc. Not suitable especially in Winter and not described on the listing. Microwave was listed, but not in cottage. Hosts property manager was very good and got us a microwave though. 2 of the 3 beds were extremely hard. Were booked to stay for 2 and a half weeks, but couldn't stay for the whole time due to all the shortcomings. Started looking for other accommodation as soon as we arrived. Can't really express how disappointed we were.

A perfect place to unwind with glorious riverside walks and birdwatching on the doorstep. The house is comfy and well-equipped. The garden is beautiful. We had a glorious time. Thank you xJoss
