Get away from it all... The Thicket Point Fish Camp is a true Chesapeake Bay waterfront property and the perfect place to escape for the best of the Eastern Shore. Located just 5 miles from downtown Onancock, VA, and everyday conveniences, this property is one of a kind! This is the "Bayview House", an updated 1950's cape cod featuring lots of original features with many modern upgrades. It sits on our 44-acre property along with our "Sunset House" - also available on Airbnb. The Bayview House is designed for up to one (1) large family, two (2) families, or 3 - 4 couples. Our vision for this house was elements of a vintage Chesapeake Bay Fish Camp with a modern twist. 95% of all items in the house are brand new (March 2021). It is fully equipped for a stay of up to a week or beyond. PLEASE NOTE: We will be unable to provide bed linens (sheets/pillowcases) for this property. There are no linen services in the area. We will provide clean bath towels, washclothes and kitchen towels. You will enter the kitchen that features all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a custom solid wood island. The kitchen is open to the living room that includes the original wood-burning fireplace. The dining room with farmhouse table is filled with windows and water views. On the first floor, there are two (2) king bedrooms with a shared double vanity bathroom. A powder room completes the first floor. The second floor is pure vintage with two (2) queen dormered bedrooms with extra twins beds, unbelievable water views, and a small shared bathroom with tub/shower combo. The outside space includes a waterfront deck, a large screen porch, and a second-story sun deck. The yard is bayside with direct access to the bay with a fire pit. Guests will be greeted by unlimited water and salt marsh views from every window. There is only one other structure (our Sunset House) on the 44 acre Fish Camp property. Feel free to explore the entire property, shoreline, and saltwater flats to crab, clam, and fish.
