We booked this place specifically for the “ski-in, ski-out” feature. We did not find out until we checked in that the resort lift was closed. Both indoor and out door hot tubs in our building were closed for maintenance, neither had water in them. The bar and restaurant closed at 9, which was kinda inconvenient for us. One evening, we were coming home after skiing all day, tired and ready to get out of our ski clothes. As we turned into the resort we realized police had the road closed due to a 15 car pile up. We were not able to get to the condo for several hours. While we were there, the gondola in town shut down indefinitely for maintenance. I know this is out of anyone’s control, but there wasn’t much snow, so not many lifts/ runs were open, and the ones that were were VERY crowded. We definitely hit a lot of road blocks on this trip, but all in all we still had a good time. Tahoe is a beautiful place and we found plenty of things to do. The condo was very clean and comfortable.

This condo is a timeshare at the IHG Ridge Tahoe in the Plaza building. The rooms in this building have been recently renovated except for many things that still look like the old switches, heating, bathroom and kitchen cabinets, carpets, etc. The new sofa bed was very comfortable as were the mattresses in the bedrooms. The halls can be noisy in the evenings with wild kids running and yelling up and down the corridors, but that's not the property's fault. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Rachel is very communicative and helpful.
