We loved our stay at Silverwood! The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful, with great views and modern amenities. The linen sheets were a lovely touch as well. The wood fireplace added to the appeal and we spent time sitting in front of the fire reading, which was a great way to end our trip. The drive to Huonville and then on to Franklin was quiet and not far from Hobart if you needed to duck back into the CBD, and we visited the local tavern in Franklin for a dinner on our last night and it was great! The grounds at Silverwood were beautiful with birds & quite a few Pademelons bounding around. We absolutely loved our stay here, and would definitely recommend! Thanks Dan & Dan

This house is so bloody nice. It’s modern yet it feels warm and cozy. This was an absolute magical stay, our favorite from our Tassy trip. It was a little drive out of Huonville and it was a little tricky to find the first time with quite a steep driveway but that’s because this house is on the side of quite a hill where you look over a beautiful yard / garden. With a really nice fire place inside to cuddle up next to, a super modern and stylish bathroom and a little false floor cozy nook upstairs for sleeping. Highly recommend this place. Thanks.

Our stay at Silverwood was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Tasmania's Huon Valley, this stay offered us an unforgettable retreat into nature. The cabin itself is an incredibly unique dome-style design, seamlessly blending into its surroundings while providing all the comforts we could ask for. The interior was tastefully decorated, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We loved waking up to the birdsong outside and enjoying our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the breathtaking Huon River. Franklin is a charming historical town with plenty to explore, from its local markets to nearby hiking trails and the surrounding towns. We also appreciated the recommendations provided by our hosts, who were eager to ensure we made the most of our time in the area. Our stay at Silverwood was nothing short of BLISS. Thank you to the incredible hosts, Dan and Dan, for sharing this slice of paradise with us – we will be back!

Daniels place is a piece of heaven in the Huon Valley. The house exceeds expectations and is better than the photos show. Two nights was not enough and we were sad we had to leave but all good things must come to an end. Daniel was great to deal with. I thoroughly recommend staying here!
