This is my 2nd stay at Richwood Glamping and it was just as great as our first stay! Caroline was super responsive. Everyone in the community is super friendly. The sunsets were absolutely amazing by the lake. The RV was clean, well equipped with everything you needed and we just loved the whole set up. Having the golf cart was a bonus! We really enjoyed driving around and checking out all the sites in the community. The headlights didn't work so we were not really able to enjoy it in the evening, which was a little bit of a bummer since the weather was amazing. Overall, fantastic stay and we will definitely be back again very soon. Thank you Caroline!
Caroline's place was beautiful. We unfortunately only got to stay a night of our reservation as we got sick and had to head home. It was exactly as described and Caroline was a very responsive and gracious host!
We had a nice stay at Caroline's. It's really a great value and worked well as our home base for a week of exploring. It's an older trailer with the quirks that come along with that, but keep in mind you're glamping! :) Most importantly, it was super clean and the beds are comfy. The resort was quiet at night. Our kids loved playing in the shallow water of the lake! We ate at Salt Springs Pizza twice and it was very good--better than we even expected! The golf cart was a hit with the kids, too.
Caroline was a great host. Everything was well communicated and arranged. For the price and location, it was quite peaceful, clean, and comfortable. The decor was cute and it contained plenty of everyday items to reduce costs which is always appreciated. The use of the golf cart was definitely an added bonus, although the headlights didn't work; so we couldn't use it at night. Wasn't a huge deal for us as our stay was short, so we just enjoyed a small fire each night instead and also enjoyed the electric fireplace inside. All in all, it really was a great stay. I would definitely recommend Caroline's place to anyone looking for a quick little getaway at an affordable price.
Great spot to stay when exploring Ocala National Forrest. It is a trailer, but it was very cozy. Trailer community was nice and clean. People there were very friendly. Great little restaurant just outside the gate.
