The house is very clean and location is quiet and peaceful, kitchen has everything you need for cooking. I would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing get away , and will most certainly be back again

If you want to experience slow living, book High Seas. A serene, quiet getaway on the East Coast of Barbados. Birds chirping, monkeys foraging, very clean space. Beautifully remote location that requires a rental car. Some bugs as other reviews have mentioned but this should not be a deterrent to booking. Relaxing on the balcony was magical and communication with Luke was super fast and easy. He was extremely attentive to our many questions and requests! Highly recommend.

We highly recommend this Airbnb, its light and airy and well equipped. We had a great time and felt at home- being able to cook, wash clothes and even work from the house. We saw glowworms at night and monkeys and humming birds during daytime, we always heard the closeby ocean…a true sanctuary. There sre mosquito nets at the windows, which is great!!Also its just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Its one of the most scenic beaches we saw, with giant rocks that really impressed us. There are also very good restaurants in the area (few minutes by car) like Zemi Café and Roundhouse, aswell as the restaurant of the near botanical garden. The hosts replied very fast to every question, always helpful and friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

We had a lovely stay at Luke’s cottage. As listed it is a very quick walk down to the beach and located on a quiet side of the island which is just what we were looking for. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook while you are there. You’ll find a few restaurants nearby that are open during the day but would recommend exploring other parts of the island for dinner or cooking at home. Overall we had a lovely time!

Amazing host and a beautiful location. If your want to try an alternative to the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown (and leave the roosters behind) this is a great option.
