Our recent stay was fantastic and perfect for our surf trip! The location couldn't be better: close to the beach and essential amenities like a supermarket and various nice restaurants. The house itself is spacious and warm, ideal for the cooler evenings. The kitchen is large and equipped for meal preparation, and the balconies offer a stunning view of the sea. We will definitely be coming back!

Ana was hugely helpful before we arrived and provided a cot for our baby as well as a recommendation for an excellent taxi company that provided a baby seat. We really enjoyed our stay at Ana’s place - a really convenient location - so close to the beach! When the friends we were staying with had an issue with their shower, Ana quickly arranged for a really nice guy to come and sort the issue out. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

Check in was bad. We were told that we could arrive any time and the house would be ready, just text half an hour before. When we texted we were told that the house wasn’t ready and they didn’t know when it would be. We arrived and it still wasn’t ready even though it was after the stated check in time. Ana and her mother were very unwelcoming, just gave us the keys, said there wasn’t any laundry detergent, took phone calls instead of talking with us, and told us to come back in half an hour. I’m not sure how they got to be super hosts. Every other host we had during our three month visit to Portugal provided: water, laundry soap, bath soap, local suggestions, showed us the house,checked in with us, and made us feel more than welcome. Ana provided none of these things. Two days before we left I alerted her that there was a strong sewage smell and the dishwasher wasn’t working. Her response was that wasn’t normal but did nothing to fix the problems.
