We were desperately looking for a countryside escape to revive from daily stress of city life. Sue and David were fantastic at giving instructions clearly since the start of our trip. The cottage is beautiful and cozy. Not to forget the lambs just grazing on the other side of the road. The place is quiet and peaceful. The back garden is beautiful. They gave us the space to have a nice family holiday.

We had a lovely weekend at Sue and David's cottage. Friendly hosts who greeted us on arrival and we even left with some of David's rhubarb pulled fresh from the garden. The setting is tranquil and scenic but also a short drive away from many places of interest. The cottage is spotless and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay and a folder of useful information about using the appliances etc as well as local recommendations. We were fortunate in being able to sit out in the garden for a cup of tea on the first day, but it was too cold subsequently, although this would be a lovely spot on a summer evening. We found the cottage cosy and warm, particularly when we used the log burner in the evenings when the temperature dropped. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to others who appreciate peace and natural surroundings.

A very comfortable place to stay, warm, friendly and welcoming. An ideal base from which to explore this beautiful countryside. Everything was in the house to make our stay easy and relaxed. We’d definitely come again.
