This single storey property boasts stunning woodland views from every room, charming decor and a relaxing outdoor hot tub, immersed amongst the trees! Keepers Stable has been beautifully converted into a Cotswold holiday cottage with a hot tub which sleeps four guests, in two comfortable bedrooms, with a spacious shower room. Inside, guests will be charmed by the retained stable features and cosy, twee style of the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. This single storey accomodation not only boasts stylish interiors, but breathtaking woodland views, which can be enjoyed from every room. Outside, the patio is immersed amongst the trees and allows guests to admire the surrounding nature from the private hot tub! Keepers Stable allows two medium sized dogs, so you can bring your four-legged friend to enjoy the holiday too! Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage near Cranham is perfectly suited for families or friends looking to relax together and explore the local countryside. This single storey dog friendly Cotswold accommodation is laid out as follows: Kitchen/dining/sitting room Open plan layout with wall of windows and patio doors leading out onto the terrace Kitchen area features a double induction hob, small Belfast sink, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, kettle, milk frother, Phillips Krupps coffee machine with starter supply of pods, toaster, dining table seating four, electric wood burner and Freeview TV Three-seater sofa, armchair, ottoman and wireless Bose speaker system Master bedroom (Sleeps 2) Super king size bed, chair and chest of drawers Family bathroom Walk-in rain shower, basin, loo, hairdryer and towel rail Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 2) King size bed (can be two 75cm wide single beds on request), built-in wardrobe, full length mirror and chest of drawers Outside Decked patio with hot tub (available on request only), outdoor table seating four, bench and woodland views with direct access The zip wire and stone seating campfire area in the woodland are available for guest use

We had such a lovely weekend at Keepers Stable. Although the Stable looks modest from the outside, the inside was set up to the highest standards and had everything we needed. Lovely furniture and bathroom, and hot tub out the back with the backdrop of the forest - stunning! There is a portable induction hob in the kitchen area which we had no problems with, and just planned ahead to cook dishes that only required the hob (no oven). This didn't bother us as much as other reviews we'd read beforehand. James was an attentive host and was contactable throughout the stay if we needed anything. What I hadn't spotted from the listing is that the Stable is in the grounds of a main house and I initially thought we'd be quite overlooked. However the hot tub was set up so that when the cover is off, it blocks the view from the main house. Would recommend that Staycotwolds try to reduce unnecessary comms (I had a lot of emails and messages beforehand) Had a lovely weekend, would recommend.
Fantastic host and a great location for exploring. Really well designed lodge with everything you need for a short stay
We had a really restful week at Keeper's Lodge. Nothing can beat opening the curtains and walking straight out into woodland, first thing in the morning. Our dog was living his best life. The accomodation was warm and cosy. The kitchen made it tricky to cook big meals but we knew it was basic when we read the details and booked it. Makes for a great excuse to eat out! The hot tub was superb. The location allowed us to entertain our 2 boys by visiting Gloucester and all it's got to offer, aswell as stacks of walks from the lodge and through the stunning countryside around. Would definitely recommend.

The stables and location were so beautiful. We had snow overnight and woke up in a very picturesque woodland, which was really magical. Overall, a very lovely weekend away

Keepers Stable is located near to the pretty village of Cranham, a small, traditional village with honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages lining its streets. Cranham is home to a children's play area, a common and the popular pub, The Black Horse Inn. The nearest eatery to the property is The Fostons Ash with an excellent menu and local beers. The village is surrounded by wonderful, unspoilt countryside specifically known for its ancient beech woodlands containing a wealth of footpaths, including The Cotswold Way.
For your shopping essentials, the nearest is the village shop in Miserden.
Cranham is ideally located for exploring the local towns of Stroud and Cheltenham, both of which can be reached in under a 20 minutes' drive. The cities of Cirencester and Gloucester also lie within easy reach about an hour away. The popular attraction of Ebworth National Trust centre is just two minutes' drive from Keepers Stable, and beautiful Royal Forest of Dean, Painswick's Rococo Garden and Slimbridge Wetland Wildlife Reserve, all lie within a short drive.
