Cosy house with lots of space and well presented rooms. All basics provided so didn't have to bring loads with us. Lee was helpful and responded quickly. The only issue we had was that the dog was able to get out of the outside area as although there is a small wall bigger dogs are able to jump over it.
We had a great weekend. Lee was very helpful and friendly, the cottage was very nice! Would definitely recommend

Lovely place to stay, very clean, easy parking and access. Really good spot for exploring a variety of Cotswolds villages and countryside.
Lee was an excellent host and we found the property as described inside. Although dogs are welcome there is not a suitable area outside for them as the outside area is right by the roadside and noisy with easy access to passers-by’s. There is however grassed areas very local to the property to walk to. Location wise it would have been useful to see a photo on the details of the property as it was a little too busy for us. I particularly liked the bedrooms, they were clean and to a high standard as were the shower rooms. Many thanks

1 Pound is situated in Brockworth, its located on Ermin street which is an A road. Brockworth is not a rural village it is a suburb evenly situated between Gloucester and Cheltenham both about 3.5 miles away. Theres a very useful array of shops just over the road from the cottage,including Take aways, cafe, co-op, newsagents and more. Theres a large Tesco's,Costa, Dominoes, Subway and more around a mile away. 2 pubs either the Whittle or the Cross hands to eat at also about 0.5 miles away. The world famous cheese roll held every May is a 1.5 mile walk away and well worth a look just to see how steep it is. The bus stop is right outside of the cottage to take you to Gloucester and the Cathedral or the Quays. Or the other way to Cheltenham and the Promenade for some shopping or the famous Cheltenham Races. Or further afield to explore the Cotswolds as this is a fantastic base to do so.
Gloucester is a small and friendly city, that you’ll find easy to explore on foot. The city is well linked with the railway station, Gloucester Trasport Hub, car parks, and bus and coach drop-offs dotted around the city centre. Gloucester Railway Station and Gloucester Transport Hub are opposite each other. Both being a short level walk to the city centre and Gloucester's main tourist attractions.
ROAD
If travelling by car, you will need to exit the M5 motorway Junction 11 if travelling from the North or Junction 12 if travelling from the South. There is plenty of signposting for Gloucester city centre, the Cathedral and the Historic Docks. There are many car parks in the city making it convenient to explore with young children.
TRAIN
Gloucester Railway Station is only a short walk away from the city. The station is part of the western main line with arrivals fr om Cheltenham (10 minutes), Stroud (20 minutes), London Paddington (2 hours), Bristol Temple Meads (1 hour), Cardiff Central (1 hour) and Birmingham New Street (1 hour). There are regular services running to and from Gloucester throughout the day.
ARRIVING AND EXPLORING BY BUS
There are well connected local bus links enabling you to easily travel in and around Gloucester. Using the Stagecoach app you can plan, track and buy tickets for exploring the area. Buses run regularly on weekdays and weekends.
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS
If you’re carbon conscious, the Zwings scooters are a great option for getting around the city quickly. From 15p per minute the scooters are brilliant for getting from A to B whilst being a carbon neutral mode of transport.
