We had a lovely weekend staying at Lourde's home. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We were able to walk to a boat launch area for a nice view of the Hudson River. The location of the home was very convenient to uptown and downtown Kingston, and also Saugerties which is where we spent most of our time. I would definitely reccomend Lourde's home to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in upstate NY!

This house was even better than the pictures! It was a beautiful home that really highlighted the originality of the house and we were so impressed with the space for the cost. We had one of the best weekends we’ve ever had here and loved exploring Kingston. There wasn’t a tv at the house but it allowed us to play games and do some crafts which were so much more fulfilling. Lourdes was great and helped us figure out the heating situation. We loved having the fireplace and two full baths. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked. Would absolutely return.

This is a really lovely home on a quiet street located within easy driving distance to downtown and uptown Kingston. Within walking distance to Sleightburgh Park and Rondout Creek. The house is spotless. The open-plan downstairs common area is airy and welcoming, with a cozy bay window reading nook, a kitchen with chef's level appliances and an easy-to-use fireplace--we used it both nights we stayed and it was great. There are also beautiful handmade wood pieces and architectural details made by the owner's husband. The bedrooms are cozy and feature good quality linens, pillows and towels. Lourdes was very responsive and eager to help in any way possible. While we visited in February, I'm sure it's even better in the warmer months, with a nice patio, firepit and grassy lawn in back. The front porch is probably a great place to have a cocktail on a summer evening. Highly recommend!

Overall, great for a quick weekend trip. The place was as described, but we found it to be a little dusty. However, the view up the hill was beautiful!

The place was comfortable, great accommodations in every room and very clean. Easy access to everywhere in Kingston, Port Ewen and and the towns surrounding. We will definitely stay again when we are back in that area.
