Burt · 整套度假屋 · 2室3床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Dan & Laurie's Creekside Retreat (Upper apartment)
This 2nd floor APARTMENT is above our PERMANENT RESIDENCE. This Creekside oasis is less than a mile south of Olcott Beach & Lake Ontario. The Burt Dam, a world-famous fishing destination is two minutes further south. We have complimentary dock space for your boat. Let us know in advance. Don't have boat? We have two kayaks you can still paddle around in the creek. Located in the heart of the famous Niagara Wine Trail we're a 40-min scenic drive to Niagara Falls and 50-min drive to Buffalo. After entering a common foyer there are seventeen steps up to the apartment. The property is located on the eastern bank of Eighteen Mile Creek. Our docks provide a great place to enjoy some private fishing. Access to the creek takes a switchback trail down the hill then 34 stairs to the docks. While it's not a difficult trek, it does require an able-bodied individual to navigate. On the creek going north you will pass through Olcott Harbor and then you're in beautiful Lake Ontario. Traveling a short distance south on the creek takes you to the Burt Dam. The creek has also been designated as a “protected hatchery” by the United States D.E.C. which only enhances the natural setting. It is intoxicating to relax on the docks while enjoying all the nature that surrounds you. It’s not a bad place to just sit and read a book as well.
