Owner of The Buzzards Nest Motel and The Buzzards Roost Bar, lifetime musician and contractor getting in the bar business 12 years ago to have a place for live music in our area, then purchasing the motel next door . The Buzzards Roost has great Pizza, calzones, wings, sandwiches and much more. The Buzzards Nest is the only motel in Lamar owned by someone actually raised in Lamar, with fierce competition from foreign owned big chain motels money spent here not only stays in Lamar what we can we put back into The Buzzards Nest, looking forward to some more exterior improvements including a new parking lot and always in progress with improvements on rooms with kitchenettes in the near future, now provide apt style refrigerator and microwave with accessible bbq grills outside. The Buzzards Roost is has a fully set up stage for traveling, and local bands, along with the house band JUDI, and occasional DJs. Also pool tables Darts, large screen Tvs for sports.
