Mel locked the gates and did not let us check into the property. We were sat outside in an unsafe location in the pitch black, calling and texting her multiple times over a half an hour period (and sounding our horn repeatedly), but no response from Mel. We had to find another hotel, which cost us almost double the cost of the AirBnB. By the time we arrived at the hotel, we barely had time to shower and sleep before having to wake up early to continue our trip. Mel completely ruined our holiday, and put us in an extremely dangerous position. DO NOT STAY HERE. Mel will IGNORE you and NOT let you check in. DO NOT fall victim to Mel like we did! I do not understand how a host can completely ignore a guest.

We had a lovely one-night stay, it was really quiet inside considering how close the main road was. Very clean. The shower was lovely and the bed was comfy. Mel was super friendly. Would recommend and return.

We had an enjoyable stay at the lovely bungalow on Mel’s farm! Despite being near main road was surprisingly peaceful inside. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! Shower was amazing and the bed was very comfy! Lots of storage and the large porch area is very handy! Kitchen was great with a large fridge/freezer and extractor fan above cooker. Plenty of room for two to eat at the dining table and the reclining sofa was fab for kicking back for reading and watching TV. Arcade machine with free credits was a bonus!! Mel is a great host and gave us a warm, friendly welcome and also met us as we left. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again!! x

amazing place! shower is to die for, bed and sofa are super comfy! just perfect for our night of peace, was so peaceful and cosy! will defo be using again! mel greeted us on arrival so no stressing over getting into the place. defo worth the money too
