Had a great stay at John and Tara’s. The house was as described and had very aesthetic touches. Check in and check out was easy and Tara was very responsive over email. We were on a ski trip and the house was close to the Breck ski mountain. My kids enjoyed the pool table and board games and relaxing by the fire. Will definitely book again!

We were very disappointed in the condition of the house. When we arrived on Monday we noticed a trash bin left by the driveway. Found out later the trash isn’t picked up until Friday. A bear and fox knocked over the trash can and spread trash all over the driveway, street and into the woods. It took 24 hrs from notifying the owners for someone to come clean up the mess. When we arrived, the front door electric lock was inoperable. Owners knew this as they sent a note right before we arrived. We entered through the garage for the entirety of our stay. What the owners didn’t mention was the electric lock made a loud horrible noise every 5 minutes. Also the home control made a loud beeping noise about every 30 minutes to an hour. Not a peaceful home. We notified the owners in the middle of our stay and the issues were not corrected. A large wet load was left in the dryer. We divided the load into 1/3s, dried each load and folded the items for the owners. NOT WORTH $800/night!

It’s a beautiful quaint cabin that is extremely well maintained. Tara was extremely communicative and helpful. It’s a great area close to Breckenridge and all it has to offer. We saw a mule deer in the yard every morning of the stay!

Had a fabulous week at Tara and John's mountain house. We loved cooking, grilling, and hot-tubbing in the evenings after skiing! The climate was easily controlled and we used the gas fireplaces when we were home for extra cozy warmth. The house was well setup for having a group of 4-6. We appreciated the easy/fast communication with our hosts when we had questions. The neighbor and pups down the street were super friendly and welcoming and we also had the treat of observing (from a distance) two young moose in the early morning one of the days. We felt very lucky to have the opportunity to live in Breckenridge for a week in this lovely home. Thanks Tara and John!
