Loved our stay. The pool was great. We went end of October and it was still hot and sunny enough to be in the pool. Just worth noting that most of the restaurants had closed for season, but a few were still open or delivered, so it wasn't a big problem. Worth hiring a car if you want to visit the beach, we walked once it took about 25 mins downhill. Got a taxi back 😅

Great villa, contacted Richard a few times as it was the first time we’d used air BNB abroad so was a bit nervous. Richard answered all my questions very promptly. When we arrived the owner of the villa called round to check everything was ok. We couldn’t get wi-fi so he had a look but had to call out the engineer who came the following day. We were given a new password but it only worked when next door (the owner owned both villas) were at home. We let the owner know this. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us but something to bear in mind. The villa itself was very spacious, there were only 4 of us so we had plenty of room. In a very quiet area but enough restaurants to eat at different ones each night. Great views of the sea. Lovely pool and area around the pool. There was a BBQ but we didn’t use it.

We spent seven nights at this villa. We cannot fault the location, or the amazing views. This is our third trip to Lourdas, in the southern end of the island, and we deliberately stay here to avoid the throngs of tourists which converge on other areas. There were four of us in the villa , and we had plenty of space: three bedrooms to choose from, and numerous loungers to enjoy both the sun and shade by the pool. Even in September, the weather in Kefalonia was amazing - lovely sunshine and no rain - though we were grateful for the A/C inside the villa at night! The restaurants and local shops only a short walk away. The villa's owner was attentive, and dealt promptly with the few questions we had. We also had two amazing meals at Captain Zorbas - one of the several fantastic restaurants practically on our doorstep. We look forward to visiting again!
