Our cabins are located in the Ottawa National Forest, at the base of the Keweenaw Peninsula. It is a perfectly quiet retreat, just down the road from Silver Mountain, Prickett Lake and Sturgeon River Falls with many trail options. We have beautiful star-gazing on clear nights, and have been known to get views of the Northern Lights in our location. There are small local stores and restaurants approximately 10-15 miles away for any basic necessities. We are located on Silver Mountain Road (Forest Service Road 2270) with access to the snowmobile trail system (trail #12 and trail #109). Please view property pictures for the snowmobile map and our location on the trail system. Located with direct access to the National Forest for hunting, fishing and hiking. We are 28 miles south of Michigan Tech (Go Huskies!) and 10 miles from Lake Superior, home to some of the world best rock hunting.
