We went as a family group, aged from 2 months up to 78. There was something for everyone. We had a great time at the house. The hot tub unfortunately broke down on the day of arrival, but the host moved heaven & earth to get us a replacement that was being installed when the 1st guests arrived. We were extremely great full for this as our younger children had a fantastic time in the new tub. Thank you Lorna.

In early March, 15 friends visited the Lakes to relax and explore. Finding the Big Pink House was easy, thanks to its listing on mapping services. Entry instructions via message were clear. Inside, the house was clean and tidy. Highlights were the bar and games room, though the dart board didn't tally scores accurately. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans but lacked teaspoons, and we only had one bin bag for four days. We missed having house rules for using amenities like the central heating and the hot tub, and to find spare linen. During our stay the hot tub broke, due to lack of servicing, giving us only half an hour's use. However, due to this inconvenience we received a partial refund. We found that there weren't many public footpaths from the house, however, it has great access to the lakes via car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and if these things were rectified, we would visit again.

It was a perfect for a group stay! We stayed as a party of 15 for a hen do. Loads of space, every room having an ensuite and the kitchen facilities were great. Hot tub was huge! Would be ideal for a family too as had loads of toys in a play room. Over night from some rooms you could hear some road noise but that was the only downside.

We stayed here for my daughters joint 18th and 21st birthday, 15 adults and 4 children. We had the most amazing time there is something to do for everyone, the games room was brilliant, the bar area just perfect for the party and the hot tub was warm and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend

House is amazing, hot tub, pizza oven, barbecue were brilliant. lovely space and the kitchen was really well stocked
