Excellent little place - we really enjoyed our weekend here!

Communication was excellent and we throughly enjoyed our stay and making the most of the heights of abraham and local walks which were all within a short walking distance (providing you are active and mobile as it is very hilly!) The inside of the cottage, although small was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. However the garden room was very run down, dirty inside with only a sofa inside which was stained. I had hoped the kids could have used the room to play in or for us to relax in but there was no hammock and the room was unusable. The gardens also needed tlc with the lawn overgrown. That said it didn't affect our stay as we spent our days exploring the local area which us perfect for active couples or families of 5 or less.

Lovely cottage with amazing views over Matlock. Loved the wood burning stove and sauna as special extras! Would definitely recommend 🤩

As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vivake & Sunny’s place. The outside seating area was delightful and the sauna was an added luxury!! I only gave it one star down from a perfect 5 because of the strong dog smell on arriving. A real shame as all that was needed was a nice air freshener… Thank you Viv & Sunny. Sheena & family.

Lovely quaint cottage with beautiful views. New kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds.
