This was our second stay and it matched the wonderful first stay we had last year! Andrew met us with umbrellas as it was raining and made us again straightaway very welcome The cottage is beautifully presented, very clean, cosy with beautiful views and the biggest dog field solely for our big german shepherd Cody! Fantastic!

Just returned from Blakelow Farm and it was the best cottage ever. Beautiful interior, stunning location with amazing views through a gorgeous square window, situated in the heart of the living room. Everything you could possibly need for a great holiday was available on hand. Looking at dates to return again soon Thank you Andy & Gina

My partner and I have stayed in some wonderful places before but this was by far the best ! Gina and Andy were fabulous hosts ; leaving flowers and wine and decs for my friends birthday as well as other goodies . The bed linen and temple spa complimentary toiltetries were to die for . Beautiful location and a paddock walk for the dogs with plenty of blankets and treats so they felt at home too. Can’t wait to go back .

Thank you so much to Andrew and Gina for our wonderful stay at Fox Cottage. We felt so at home and wish we had booked to stay for longer. The cottage and surroundings are stunning and the home had everything we needed. Our children loved feeding the chickens. The beds were comfortable and amenities in the cottage were lovely! Andy and Gina were also great and helping with local recommendations and kindly gave us some herbs from their allotment to have with our dinner! The cottage is situated in a great location to drive to Bakewell, Matlock and other beautiful stunning locations.

Wonderful stay at Blakelow Farm. Fox Cottage is immaculate and luxurious, with everything you need. The grounds are well kept and interesting to explore, and there’s a selection of games and books to borrow. Gina and Andrew are very friendly and great hosts - thank you. We had a great weekend, and the children enjoyed the stay very much. Chatsworth House & Gardens is nearby and is a must to visit - absolutely amazing.
